Tasks


  • Design, develop and deploy data products that deliver value-adding insights for operations and commercial areas
  • Analyze commercial and operational air cargo data to uncover patterns and predictive opportunities and build corresponding models
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline manual processes
  • Design and evaluate statistically sound randomized, controlled experiments to assess commercial impact
  • Collaborate with IT and operational stakeholders to deliver high quality, sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, sharing knowledge and supporting other teams on their data challenges
  • Communicate complex analytical insights in clear, business-relevant terms across all organizational levels
  • Help build and support SWC in its transformation to science driven decision making

Requirements


  • Bachelor�s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with data, modelling and predictive analytics
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with cloud environments (MS Fabric preferred)
  • Hands-on experience of SQL for data preparation and exploratory analysis from complex data schemas
  • Proven proficiency in programming to support modelling efforts (Python preferred)
  • Comfort with statistical inference, regression, timeseries or related techniques (ML is a plus)
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives working in complex, evolving environments (entrepreneurial mindset)
  • Knowledge of airline/air cargo commercial environment or revenue management is advantageous
  • Fluent in English
