Background:

ITech is looking for a Digital Biomaker Scientiest (924348DO) for a client in the pharma industry. The Digital Biomarker and Remote Patient Management (dBM & RPM) Chapter in Information Solutions, are an integrated team of scientists, technologists, data analysts andoperationalization experts, that leverages mobile technologies like smartphones andwearables to collect objective and continuous sensor data from patients in clinical trials andclinical care.

We co-create innovative digital biomarker concepts for sensitive and meaningful drugdevelopment endpoints, implement them in technology solutions, develop health relatedoutcome measures, seek community- and regulatory acceptance of corresponding endpointsand provide end-to-end services to Biopharma companies and research institutes for thecollection and analysis of digital endpoint data in clinical trials. Moreover, we are establishingthe scientific foundations for disease monitoring and screening solutions in clinical practice.


The perfect candidate possesses a Ph.D. in Life Sciences and at least 5 years of experience inthe pharmaceutical industry. They have a proven record of publishing in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, alongside extensive experience in sensor data and digital biomarkerdevelopment. The ideal candidate will also be a clear communicator, capable of empoweringleadership, with prior clinical experience in Neuroscience and fluency in English.


Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Develop scientific core messages for product marketing
  • Support interactions with customers during the pre- and post-sales phases
  • Contribute to the communication of scientific results at conferences, in white-papers, and inpeer-reviewed publications
  • Provide scientific guidance for data analysis projects


Must Have:
  • University degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Life Sciences or related field with a minimum of 5years related experience in the pharmaceutical and digital health industry
  • Track record of writing compelling publications in high impact, peer reviewed journals
  • Deep experience in the area of sensor data and digital biomarker development
  • Transparent communicator and able to apply effective empowering leadership
  • Previous clinical experience in Neuroscience (especially Parkinson-, Huntingtons-, Multiple Sclerosis & Alzheimers Disease)
  • Fluency in English


Nice to Have:
  • Hands-on work with sensor or other high frequency/complex time series data, including feature engineering
  • Experience with developing digital biomarkers, digital clinical outcome assessments and digital endpoints
  • FDA/EMA regulatory interactions or regulatory consortia regarding clinical drug developmentand novel drug development endpoints
  • Experience with engineering hardware for remote patient monitoring and sensor data collection
