Chemours is seeking a
Global Advocacy Director, Advanced Performance Materials and Thermal & Specialized Solutions to lead regulatory, industry, and value chain advocacy in support of our Advanced Performance Materials (APM) and Thermal & Specialty Solutions (TSS) businesses. This position will report to the APM Global Sustainability Senior Director and receive business direction from the TSS Sustainability Leader. This role will be based in Europe at a Chemours site or remote.This highly strategic and visible role will be responsible for developing and executing the global advocacy strategy for the fluoropolymers and fluorochemicals businesses, with a focus on ensuring the long-term sustainability of our present and future product portfolio. This role will represent Chemours in key regulatory, industry and policy discussions, inform emerging chemical regulations, and build stakeholder support for the essential role of fluoroproducts in sustainable innovation (with the exception of US fluorochemicals advocacy which is executed through a different team). This leader will manage a team of direct reports in Europe, US, and China, and collaborate with a global cross-functional network . The ideal candidate will have proven strategic thinking and management skills, coupled with broad experience and demonstrated success in addressing chemical policy and regulatory developments and a deep understanding of risks and opportunities for the business, customers, and value chain.
