Role
- Should work independently with Swiss customers directly in design development and testing C application programs.
- Should have expertise in Pointers.
- Should be able to fix performance issues.
- Should be able to proactively provide solutions for any hurdles.
- Highlight any Issues or Risks beforehand.
- Should provide review support and guide the juniors to deliver high quality code with
Standards
Competencies:
C Programming, System Z - z/Linux
Essential Skills:
- In depth C coding skills
- Debugging, Memory overlays (casting), structural padding, pointer arithmetic, function pointers, bitwise operations, bitfields, preprocessor macros, type qualifiers
- Efficient bug free coding/performance tuning
- Other basic tools like GDB, cmake/make, Visual studio code
- Preferably embedded experience
Desirable Skills:
- Basic Linux knowledge
- SQL, PL/SQL, Assembly and/or Mainframe experience, is a big plus
- Must be willing and able to work with complex legacy code base
