Job Location - On-site- Azure Infrastructure & Management: Expertise in managing Azure Subscriptions, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks (Vnets), Site Recovery Manager, Azure Update Management, Firewall, DNS, and Azure Monitor.
- Security & Identity: Proficient in Azure AD, IAM, RBAC, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for secure access and governance.
- IaaS & VM Administration: Experience in managing IaaS VMs (Windows/Linux), including configuration, patching, recovery, and troubleshooting disk failures.
- Cloud Architecture & Governance: Strong understanding of Azure Landing Zones, foundational architecture, and implementing Azure policies for governance and compliance.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience managing the IaaS platform and maintaining the VM and OS (Windows and Linux).
- Collaborate with cross-group peers both proactively and reactively.
- Solid understanding of Azure AD, PIM, Networking, Azure policy, Security.
- Document troubleshooting steps.
- Maintain the update and availability of the VMs.
- Maintain automated patching and recovery.
- Troubleshooting any failure of the disks of the VMs.
- Backup and movement of the disks across region.
- Experience with VM configuration and administrationo Familiarity with OS internal concepts (Windows and/or Linux) and storage.
- Virtualization and Cloud: Understanding of virtualization concepts and virtual system administration.
- Understanding of cloud vs. on-premises computing.
- Understanding of Change Management, Incident management.
- Monitor the health of the VMs, for the CPU, memory utilization and alert respective teams. Provision of hardened images from marketplace or custom image.
- Upgrading the system policy and strategy.
